Great news….

We are supporting the Dutch Blues and swing band The marble Tones at the Drill Hall in Chepstow on the 25th October… All proceeds from the gig will go to supporting Eden Gate who run a night shelter in Newport.

‘Eden Gate exists in Newport for those who find themselves sinking, either because they have no home or because they are trapped by drugs or alcohol (or sometimes both). Nobody has to sink when there are hands willing to help’.

The marble Tones feature top blues harp player Ben Bouman and have toured throughout Europe and the North America at Blues venues and festivals…If you’d like to hear their music you can catch up with them on YouTube or buy their album ‘Lucky 13’ on iTunes

The Band would like to announce that we will be playing at The White Horse Soudley in Church Road near Cinderford on Saturday 23rd June. It’s a FREE no ticket gig so we look forward to welcoming you all!

Despite a very cold Friday evening last week, we’re busy putting together an extensive set list that includes covers of popular contemporary rock enthused blues tracks by the Stones, Free, The Doors, Canned Heat… but also includes more traditional blues tracks by BB King, Albert King and Blind Connie Williams.

After much discussion we’ve also decided to add in a couple of tracks from the up and coming debut album, due out later this year, to give you a taste of where we are going musically.

Apart from the VIP party gig in April, we have already started taking bookings for gigs later in the year. This includes a charity gig in October raise awareness of homelessness where we will be joined by top European Blues band The Marbletones, together with the highly respected touring artist Tony Close (More information to be announced once contracts have been signed). Tony has played for, and alongside, some of the very best high profile bands in the world over the years, including his own band Close Encounters. We’re looking forward to Tony enthralling us with his set list of the very best of guitar blues. The Marbletones, including top harpist Ben Bouman, have toured right across Europe and the United States, where they regularly play to sell out audiences….We are extremely lucky to have both join us.

As we write this, I can confirm that we there are a further three dates that look like they will be added this month!
